I was fortunate enough to have gotten multiple opportunities to play at this great place. The parking could be a little challenging but that never stopped me. Big Q Productions did a 2 day event with night 1 at the Gothic and night 2 at the Ogden. Depth Charge and Filth Industry was part of night 1 , and it was memorable. Wayne Quigley was above and beyond a great guy, and I wish the walls in the Gothic green room could talk about the stories it saw.

Wayne took good care of the bands, and there was a tub full of drinks on ice. A bunch of us on the bill were hanging out, but Chadwick, the bassist for Moore was hanging out drinking the beer that was meant for us. I was about to say “Dude, that beer’s not meant for you!” but after seeing it was Miller High LIfe, something I wouldn’t be drinking anyway. I just let it go.

Corruption’s Marc Grabowski came to see the show, and during Filth Industry’s set- we had come full circle. Just 7 years before, we almost fought over a woman. But on this night, we were both completely oogling over FI’s multi-instrumentalist Jen. Our friendship was complete.
